Implied probability calculator

Convert odds into a price-implied percentage. Optionally enter the opposite side of a two-outcome market to inspect its overround.

Enter a price of +100 or higher, or −100 or lower.
Leave blank for one price. Use only the complete opposite side of a two-outcome market.

Your calculation

A worked example

At −110, each side implies about 52.38%. Two opposing −110 prices total about 104.76%, an overround of 4.76 percentage points. Proportionally normalizing those two prices produces 50% for each side; this adjustment is not proof of the true probabilities.

The math

Implied probability = 100 ÷ decimal odds. Two-outcome overround = first implied % + opposite implied % − 100. Normalized first side = first implied % ÷ sum of both implied % × 100.

Common questions

Does a 60% implied probability mean a 60% win chance?

No. It is a probability derived from the quoted price. Margin, market conditions and pricing choices can separate it from the actual outcome probability.

Can I use the optional field for a three-way soccer market?

No. Leaving out the draw produces an incomplete total. This version only normalizes a complete two-outcome market.

What does negative overround mean?

The two entered implied probabilities add to less than 100%. That could reflect mismatched markets, stale prices or other conditions. The arithmetic alone does not establish an executable or risk-free opportunity.
